Legacy Headstones – Personalized Memorials for your Loved Ones

At Legacy Headstones, we understand the importance of crafting personalized memorials and monuments to pay final and lasting respects to your loved ones. This is why we have created a simple and easy to use graphical application that allows you to produce customized designs for memorials, headstones and monuments that meet your specific needs. This application is a quick and easy way to relay the textual and graphical information you want on your memorial stones and grave markers. You may use our design application to customize names, dates, and epitaph sentiments on your memorials. In addition, you can upload saved picture or image files from your computer to augment the design of your gravestones and headstones. 1. Select a Monument Design

Listed on this page are the variations of headstone designs we offer. The many different shapes and sizes of our grave markers ensure that your loved one is memorialized properly. Choose a shape and structure that you would like to customize by clicking on it.

2. Using the Graphic Design Application

Each of our headstones offer varied placement and inclusion of names, dates, scenery, images, and epitaphs. The green boxes in the design application denote text information, while the yellow boxes denote images.

3. Enter the Appropriate Text

Enter the First Name and Family Name (or surname) of the deceased in the appropriate boxes. Depending on the headstone design structure you have chosen, dates and epitaphs may also be added, and additional first names may be available on headstones intended to mark the resting place of more than one soul.

4. Choose Font

Located at the top of the design application, you will see a button marked “font”. Clicking here allows you to choose textual characteristics that appropriately reflect your needs.

5. Portrait Design

Our design application allows you to add images to your memorials from our library, or to add customized images of your choosing. Clicking on the yellow portrait box will allow you to browse left and right through our available images, and clicking on an image will include it in your memorials.

Alternatively, clicking on the “upload your own” button will open Windows Explorer, allowing you to upload a saved images or picture files directly from your computer to the design of your memorials. Note that images will automatically be converted to black and white.

6. Scenery Design

Similar to the portrait design, some headstones provide a larger image box that allows you to add a peaceful scenery design to your customized memorial stones. As with the portrait interface, simply click the scenery box to browse our library of available images, or click the “upload your own” button to add an image from your computer.

7. Show or Hide Outlines

Clicking on the “show or hide background” button at the top of the interface allows you to decide whether or not you prefer the outline boxes around your text and images.

8. Save your Design Template

To save the designs of your memorials and view them again later, you will need to create a website account with Legacy Headstones. This process is quick and easy – simply click on the “my account” button, answer a few short questions, and you will be able to access your headstone designs at a later time.

9. Finalize your Order

Once you have decided on a final and appropriate memorial, click on the “add to cart” button to begin your purchase process.
